 Supporting Community Connections (SCC): A Suicide Prevention & Early Intervention Project


The project is made possible through Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services/ Division of Behavioral Health Services/ Mental Health Services Act Funding

Slavic Assistance Center is partnering with Sacramento County Division of Behavioral Health Services on their county-wide mental health promotion and stigma and discrimination reduction project. This project, '€œMental illness: It'€™s not always what you think€ is made possible by voter approved Proposition 63, the Mental Health Services Act. THE '€˜HOPE FOR THE FUTURE'€™ PROJECT of the Slavic Assistance Center offers cultural and ethnic specific/age specific outreach activities and workshops for people with psychiatric and emotional problems with the goal of suicide prevention. Our mission is to enhance the strengths of Russian-speaking Slavic children, adults and families in Sacramento County. OUTREACH ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS ARE AVAILABLE AT NO CHARGE.

НАША МИССИЯ -€” способствовать оздоровлению русскоговорящей славянской общины детей, взрослых и семей в округе Сакраменто. ДАННЫЕ ПРОГРАММЫ И СЕМИНАРЫ ПРЕДОСТАВЛЯЮТСЯ БЕСПЛАТНО.
